Not speaking from experience, but one can easily assume that getting arrested and going to jail has got to be one of the worst experiences in the world.  The humiliation, the fear and the depression one must go through has got to be enough to scare anyone straight and put them on the right path.  But apparently for some, the jail experience is not that bad.  Why else would someone who was just released from jail go out and commit a crime so that he could end up right back in the same jail he was just released from.  It makes you think that either this person likes jail that much or maybe they are just the worst criminal out there.
