OMG…when will people finally understand the implications of social media and Facebook?  When will they understand that there is no such thing as a secret or a whisper on Facebook?  People need to realize that anything you post on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.) is the equivalent of yelling it to the world.  Just imagine that the internet is a big megaphone on full volume.  Anything you say no matter how quietly, will come out like you are screaming it every time and people will hear it, even those you might not want to.

Just ask a couple young men from Warren, Michigan who recently posted some pretty horrible things on Facebook about wanting to kill police.  These threats are not being treated in jest by local law enforcement.  In fact they are being treated as threats of terrorism, and both men are facing 20 year felony charges.  Apparently one of the men was upset that his car had been towed, thus prompting the ill-advised Facebook threats.  According to authorities both men are being held on $500,000 bail bonds.  Read the original story below.
