If you follow our ExpertBail bail bond industry news reports than you have probably seen several stories about ExpertBail Agent Kellye Cooper of Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Well we have one more for you (and it probably won’t be the last knowing Kellye). This one comes from The Daily Tribune in Mount Pleasant.
Earlier this week, the Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce presented the “2014 Citizen of the Year Award.” This year’s recipient was, yep you guessed it, Kellye Cooper. While most people kept their heads down in 2014 and focused on getting by, Kellye spent the year, just like she has always spent her life, with her head up, her eyes open and her heart full. In addition to running a successful bail bond business (yes, she is a bail bond agent) she runs a non-profit organization called MOM (Ministering Our Military). She spends countless hours along with a team of dedicated volunteers putting together care packages for our sons and daughters who our overseas in the military. Kellye understands first-hand what it means to the individuals in our military who receive these care packages as well as what it means to the parents of those children who must be away from their loved ones because Kellye’s own son Chad is serving overseas. In fact, it was Chad who actually presented Kellye the award via video conference in what many are calling the most emotional moment of the night.
