What Happens if Someone You Know is Arrested in California

Someone you know has been arrested in the state of California... now what do you do? The process of arranging California bail bonds isn't nearly as complex as many people think. If you have been notified that a friend or family member has been arrested and taken to one of the local jails, you will want to contact a bail bond agent ASAP. The bail agent will ask you questions like where the person was arrested, what jail they are at and against what charges. If you don't know any of that information, that's okay. Our ExpertBail agents are here to help you.

We will answer any questions you have and can help you understand what needs to be done to get the defendant released from custody fast.

In California, everyone who is not being held on a "no bail hold" has a right to bail bonds. A judge is the only one who has the power to release a parole, probation or immigration hold. You will also want to keep in mind that the California bail bonds process isnot immediate. It will take the defendant between 4 and 6 hours to be fully booked and processed into the jail. That's not to say you can't begin working on the bail bond process immediately though. The faster you are able to arrange bail bonds, the quicker you can get your loved one out of a California jail.

For more information on how bail bonds work in California, call an ExpertBail agent now, 800-938-2245.
